ABOUT ME

I am a skilled and professional Piper with nearly two decades of experience as a soloist  piping for special and solem occasions.  I have played at numerous wedings, formal events, civic functions, funerals and have played for Dignataries, VIP's and Generals in both Canada and other countries.

A decorated twenty-five year veteran of the Canadia Forces, I have played with the Special Service Force Pipes and Drums and  the 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group Pipes and Drums of the Regular Force and was, for 7 years, the Pipe Sergeant of  Kingston's own militia unit, The Princess of Wales Own regiment Pipes and Drums. Most recently, I played with the Napanee and District Pipes and Drums , performing in parades, showed and competetion

 I am  well versed in both scottish and celtic lore and traditions as well as military protocols and have a wide and varied repertoire of pipe music

Other Events

Among some of the past Civic Events that I have Piped for were the first "Canada's First Capital Parade ", The 2000 Kingston City Hall Levi, Kingston's Tall Ships Challenge "Sail Past" and City of Kingston's Police Force Ceremonies. Some of the Corporate Events I played at include the annual Society of Materiel Engineers Dinner at Royal Military College's Senior Staff Mess, Welcoming Corporate VP's at Star Tek, many Charity events and numerous military mess dinners and RCEME Reunions at CFB Kingston.

       

MILITARY MESS DINNERS

Many of the traditions of modern military mess dinners come from centuries-old Regimental and Scottish Traditions. Some, such as piping in the port date back to ancient Greece. I am well versed in Scottish lore and tradition as well as the Military and Naval traditions and protocals of Canadian, British and Comonwealth and American Armed Forces .
