Each wedding is a special and unique event, and there is only one opportunity to get it right. I have nearly two decades of experience. Let my professionalism and flexibility assist you in adding a special touch to your special day.    

For weddings in the Kingston area (50 km).* I charge $150 Cdn for a Basic Wedding and this includes:

PIPING AT CHURCH

• Playing at wedding venue entrance, welcoming the guests, for 20 minutes prior to arrival of the Bride;
• Piping in the Groom and his Honour Attendants;
• Playing a greeting to announce the arrival of the Bride and her Bridesmaids;
• Piping the Bride from her carriage, to the church;
• Piping the Bridal Procession up to the altar;
• After marriage ceremony, piping the Happy Couple from the church and attending for photographs as required;
• Piping the Bridal Party to their wedding carriage and continue to play as they depart;
• Playing slow airs in the distance during an outdoor ceremony;
• Any special requirements, such as playing during the signing of the register; playing a lament or slow air during the service in remembrance of a lost family member, piping in other special family members or guests; rendering military honours if required, and much more.

This also includes at no extra charge:

• A SPECIAL WEDDING BANNER: (An ornate ceremonial flag suspended from the base drone of my pipes) displaying the "Luckenbooth" on one side and the "Claddah" on the other;
• A WIDE TUNE SELECTION: I offer a wide selection of tunes suitable for your day.
• UNIFORMS TO MATCH YOUR OCCASION: I also offer a selection of Highland dress to compliment your ceremony, which includes: Formal and informal Day Jackets, Formal Evening Jacket and full highland military uniform with Doublet, Hair Sporran and Spats. All are worn properly and to a high standard of dress and deportment
• ARE THE MEN WEARING A KILT? Not everyone is familiar with wearing highland dress especially with rented kilts and jackets. (Sometimes with embarrassing results) If required I can assist the men in sorting those rental packages and ensure they are properly turned out.
• THE WEDDING REHERSAL: For weddings in the Kingston area, I can attend the wedding rehearsal at no extra charge.
• WEDDING PLANNER NEEDS HELP? Sometimes even the best wedding planner does not know all the niceties of a traditional Highland or Service wedding. With my years of experience and extensive knowledge in Celtic, Scottish, Irish, Military and Naval traditions and lore, I can help make your day special.
• I SHOW UP: In more than twenty years of piping, I have never been late nor have I missed a performance. Nor have I attended a service with less than a very high standard of dress and deportment. (sadly not all local pipers can honestly claim this)

Additional Services :

PIPING AT THE RECEPTION,

If you also require piping a the reception, there is an additional $50 charge for this and it includes:

• Greeting the guest as they arrive;
• Piping in the Bride and Groom;
• Playing a set during cocktails or during the meal;
• Playing warning calls announcing dinner;
• Piping` in the head table;
• Offering a Gaelic Toast to the happy couple;

(If you Only require piping at the reception, this will just cost $150 Cdn.)

• WEDDIINGS OUTSIDE THE KINGSTON AREA: There is a $50 Cdn charge for weddings outside the Kingston area (up to 100 km)
